Bitcoin Holds 61k Into the CPI That Decides June.

Bitcoin trades near 61,500 this morning, pinned in a tight 60,000 to 63,000 range, and at 12:30 UTC the May CPI lands. This is the single most important input for the next move.

April printed 3.8 percent, the hottest since May 2023. A second hot read prices out the last of the 2026 cuts, lifts the dollar, and drains the liquidity that every risk asset runs on, handing Bitcoin a direct test of the lower 60,000s. An in-line print chops sideways into the June FOMC with no resolution. A cool miss revives the rate-cut narrative, slips the dollar, and gives the bulls the relief they have waited for since April.

The desk view is unchanged: this is a liquidity contraction wearing a crypto mask, and 60,000 is the line that holds the thesis. Today's number, and the Warsh Fed in the days after, decide the second half of the year.

Do not trade the candle before the print. Trade the data after it.

Read the data, not the hype.
